Rebecca Patterson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago where she has been part of the emergency team since 2015.
Dr. Patterson completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois. She then went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Patterson worked in a small animal emergency clinic and as a mobile equine practitioner before joining MedVet.
Dr. Rebecca Patterson enjoys the fast pace of emergency medicine and having to be prepared for any type of emergency that walks through the door. Although she currently works with small animals, she also has an interest in equine medicine. Dr. Patterson owns horses and, in her free time, she enjoys riding, caring for them, and competing in horse shows.
