Roland Maertens, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian and Medical Director at MedVet Mobile where he has been part of the medical team since 2015. Dr. Maertens attended Sarah Lawrence College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree followed by Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. Dr. Maertens practiced veterinary medicine for six years in Las Vegas practice before returning to Mobile.
Although he enjoys all aspects of small animal emergency medicine, his special areas of interest include critical care, internal medicine, and abdominal ultrasonography. Dr. Roland Maertens, a native of Mobile, is happy to be back providing care for patients and clients of the Gulf Coast.
