Alina Teslenko, DVM, MS is a Rotating Intern who joined the MedVet Chicago team in June 2019. Dr. Teslenko earned her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Biology from Bradley University in Peoria, IL followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL.
Dr. Teslenko has authored a publication on the comparison of In-Hospital Non-Recordable Telemetry Versus Holter Monitoring in Dogs with Ventricular Arrhythmias (published abstract, and manuscript submitted for review). Additionally, she has special interests in cardiology, emergency medicine, and critical care.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is collaboration with colleagues, and being an advocate for animal health and wellbeing. Dr. Teslenko was particularly impressed with the MedVet positive workplace culture, and quickly recognized it as a professional team who practice high quality medicine, and support their clients, patients, and each other.
Dr. Telesenko enjoys world culture and is looking forward to future travel and new global adventures!
