Andrew Nguyen, DVM, is a veterinary intern at MedVet Chicago, where he has been a part of the team since 2022.
Dr. Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis in Davis, CA. He then completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis, CA.
While having a diverse interest in veterinary medicine, Dr. Nguyen is most interested in emergency medicine, infectious disease, neurology & neurosurgery, and nutrition. He greatly enjoys being an active component in helping pet owners provide the best medical care possible for their furry family members. He is excited to be a part of the MedVet Chicago team due to the hospital’s excellent specialty and emergency care.
When not expanding his veterinary skills, Dr. Nguyen spends his free time attending electronic music concerts, expanding his small succulent garden, raising his pet betta fish, and playing Pokémon Go.
