Ashley Bedarf, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian with MedVet Norwalk where she has been a part of the team since August 2019. Dr. Bedarf earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Animal Sciences from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Amherst, MA. She also attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Bedarf practiced both large animal and small animal medicine for four years before moving back east to practice small animal medicine. She is passionate for all aspects of emergency medicine, with special interests in complicated interdisciplinary medical cases, orthopedics, laceration and bite wound management. Dr. Bedarf’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is fostering the human and animal bond by working closely with owners so they have all the information to best care for their pets. When not in the ER, she spends her time rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, cooking, and spending time with her two cats.
