Charles W. Rogers, DVM, is veterinarian who is residency trained in Veterinary Internal Medicine who has been part of the MedVet Pittsburgh team since 2020. Dr. Rogers earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Following veterinary school, Dr. Rogers completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, NY. He then completed a three-year residency in internal medicine at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in North Grafton, MA.
While Dr. Rogers carries an advanced knowledge and love for all aspects of veterinary internal medicine, he has a special interest in infectious disease, immune mediated disease, gastroenterology hepatic disease, renal disease, and endocrine disease. His favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping a family manage multiple chronic diseases in their pets. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Rogers enjoys cooking, history, jazz, fly fishing, travel, and his children.
