Cherise Willey, DVM, is a Veterinarian who is residency trained in Veterinary Internal Medicine at MedVet Norwalk. She has been a part of the team since 2019. Dr. Willey attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. Dr. Willey completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in East Lansing, MI. She then completed a three-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, TN. Before joining MedVet, Dr. Willey worked in a small specialty practice in Texas for more than five years.
Dr. Willey maintains an interest in all aspects of veterinary small animal internal medicine, although has a particular interest in infectious diseases and autoimmune diseases. When away from the hospital, Dr. Willey enjoys spending time with her husband and their cats, as well as traveling, cooking, literature, and movies.
