Dr. Okroj completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She then obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Following this, she completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Tufts VETS in Walpole, MA.
In addition to emergency medicine, Dr. Okroj is particularly interested in cardiology, chronic disease management, and gastroenterology. She enjoys the surprise of working in an emergency room, as each day is different and each pet that arrives presents a unique case.
When not saving pets, Dr. Okroj enjoys hiking with her three-legged dog, traveling, cooking, and watching documentaries.
