Dr. Neshek attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis, MN where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a minor in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in St. Paul, MN. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Neshek completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral in Bowie, MD. Prior to joining MedVet, she worked as an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian for three years at a specialty hospital in North Carolina.
Dr. Neshek has a special interest in acute trauma, metabolic derangements, and animal behavior. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is building relationships with pets and their families.
When not in the hospital, Dr. Neshek enjoys trail running, photography and videography, mountain biking, and backpacking.
