Kelli Zimmerman, DVM, Diplomate, ACVO, is a Board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. She is a locum veterinarian at MedVet Salt Lake City.

Dr. Zimmerman attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette, IN. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. Zimmerman completed a small animal medicine & surgery internship at VCA Advanced Veterinary Center in Fishers, IN and an ophthalmology internship at Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, she completed a fellowship in comparative ophthalmology at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in Urbana, IL as well as a comparative ophthalmology residency at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA.

Dr. Zimmerman has a special interest in vision-sparing microsurgery, especially corneal repair and cataract surgery. When away from the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, hiking, painting, and anything related to brachycephalics.
