Lauren A. Reeves, DVM, Diplomate, ACVS-SA is a board-certified Veterinary Surgeon at MedVet Cleveland West where she has been a part of the team since September 2020. Dr. Reeves earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology at the Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH. She continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and completed a specialty internship in small animal rotating medicine and surgery, and also one in small animal surgery and emergency medicine. She then went to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, MO where she completed a Small Animal Surgery Residency.

Dr. Reeves is interested in cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, and minimally invasive soft tissue surgery. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is seeing the impact of the human animal bond every day and doing what she can to help enhance the lives of animals and their families.

In her free time, Dr. Reeves loves to travel the world and appreciates other cultures. You can find her outdoors, whether it’s hiking or kayaking, as she enjoys being in nature and seeing its beauty.
