Matthew C. Milloway, DVM is a Veterinarian who is residency trained in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia at MedVet Chicago where he has been a part of the team since August 2020. Dr. Milloway attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC. He continued his education by completing a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He then went back to North Carolina State University to complete a residency in Anesthesia and Analgesia.
Dr. Milloway has authored publications regarding anesthesia and analgesia, biomarkers in critical illness, and immunology. He has a special interest in ultrasound guided regional anesthesia and his favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is providing superior peri-operative pain management to patients.
In his free time, Dr. Milloway enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and practicing yoga.
