Nicole Pacheco, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Silicon Valley where she has been a part of the team since 2014. Dr. Pacheo attended the University of California, Davis in Davis, CA where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with Phi Zeta honors. She furthered her education by completing a rotating internship at PetCare Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA in which she gained intensive experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and general practice.
Professional interests of Dr. Pacheco include emergency and internal medicine, endocrinology, surgery, ophthalmology, and the human animal bond. She also has a passion for mentoring new veterinary graduates and interns. Dr. Pacheco loves caring for her patients and making them feel comfortable in the hospital. She feels fulfilled working with such a caring and cohesive team, helping patients and their owners through some of their most difficult times.
When not in the ER, Dr. Pacheco is sharing time with her husband and children, their adorable and high energy American Shepherd, CJ, and their two curious cats. She also enjoys hiking and backpacking, paddle boarding, playing the piano, reading, and gardening.
