Dr. McBride attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT where she graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, NY. Following earning her veterinary degree, Dr. McBride completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, WI. Additionally, she completed a residency in neurology & neurosurgery at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH.
Dr. McBride has a special interest in neurosurgery, Chiari-like malformation, pain management, veterinary behavior, and dog sports. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is building relationships with people and helping their pets.
When not caring for patients, Dr. McBride enjoys spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, two cats, and fiancé. She also likes to hike, kayak, and practice agility training with her dog.
