Sarah E. Schraeder, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dallas and MedVet Richardson where she has been part of the team since 2018. Dr. Schraeder earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Schraeder then went on to complete a yearlong rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO.
While passionate about aspects of emergency medicine, Dr. Schraeder has a special interest in wound care and internal medicine. Outside of her clinical interests, she finds joy in being able to reunite patients with their families. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Schraeder spends time with her family, reading, and enjoys hiking with her dog.
