Stacy L. Thacker, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Lexington. She has been a part of the team since 2022.
Dr. Stacy Thacker attended Eastern Kentucky University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Stacy Thacker has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, wound management, and equine theriogenology. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is the fulfillment it provides when improving the lives of her patients and their families.
When away from the hospital, she enjoys competitive cowboy mounted shooting with her equine partners throughout the Midwest.
