Dr. Susaneck attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1979. He then completed a yearlong medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY. In 1983, Dr. Susaneck completed a combined Oncology and Internal Medicine Residency at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins, CO. Dr. Susaneck went on to achieve double board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Susaneck has a special interest in all aspects of medical oncology and often participates in collaborative research and clinical trials. His philosophy is to provide the highest quality of life for his cancer patients. He has been in private specialty practice in Houston since 1984 and serves as an oncology consultant for Antech Imaging Services.
In his spare time, Dr. Susaneck enjoys golfing, cooking, and oenology.
