Taylor Slabaugh, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Silicon Valley where she has been a part of the team since August 2020. Dr. Slabaugh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in Davis, CA. She then went on to complete an internship focused in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery at VCA Encina Veterinary Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA.
Dr. Slabaugh is passionate about emergency medicine. She has also authored a publication on cardiac arrhythmias and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) in Rhesus Macaques. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being able to be the voice for animals as well as supporting these pets and their human counterparts, both medically and emotionally.
When not in the ER, Dr. Slabaugh enjoys golfing, boating, and camping.
