Dr. White attended Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu where she earned her Master of Science degree in Marine Science. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pamona, California followed by a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship with VCA Animal Specialty Group in San Diego, California.
Dr. White’s interest in veterinary medicine began when she assisted a marine mammal veterinarian with stranded marine mammals in Hawaii. She enjoys the challenge of emergency medicine and likes providing a supportive and understanding environment during a stressful, unplanned period. Her clinical interests include urethral obstruction, fracture stabilization and emergency surgery.
When not treating patients, Dr. White’s favorite pastimes include stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, spinning, hot yoga, running and exploring the outdoors. She also loves spending time with her two Labrador retrievers, Guinness and Yukon.
