Attendees will:

1. review a systematic approach to the bite wound polytrauma patient for assessment of common injuries and initial stabilization, and learn how to develop a head-to-toe triage approach with a focus on key “bedside” organ system evaluations.

2. review the role of STAT diagnostics and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the assessment of bite wound trauma patients.

3. review current management strategies for severe bite wound injuries including current stabilization recommendations and emerging wound therapies.
