The Veterinary Care Center (VCC) opened in February 2012 and was the first cancer center for animals in the state of Connecticut. Recently, we expanded to include other specialties and emergency services and are busy settling into a newly renovated facility including a linear accelerator and MR.
Our experienced team is known for forming collaborative, supportive relationships with referral partners and always strive to treat your pet like they are our own – with kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. We also continually look outside the box for solutions – for ways to better diagnose and treat cancer and other diseases in pets. Leaving no stone unturned is one of the lessons we learned while treating our own pets. We do this while being extremely sensitive to concerns about quality and quantity of life.
We are available 365 days a year, including holidays; providing unsurpassed Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery services on a referral basis. If, however, your pet is facing a medical emergency, you may come directly to our hospital – no referral is needed.
