MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets (MedVet) is pleased to announce its expansion of Cardiology Services with the addition of the Heart to Heart Veterinary Cardiology Consultants (Heart to Heart), located in Copley, Ohio.

“Heart to Heart and MedVet share a long-term collaboration and passion for providing compassionate, high-quality service and care to our Patients, Clients, and Referral Partners.” said MedVet President and CEO, Dr. Eric Schertel. “By coming together, we further solidify our partnership while helping advance our mission of leading specialty healthcare for pets.”

“We’ve shared facilities for many years. Such collaboration has allowed us to provide exceptional care for our clinically ill and critical cardiac patients,” said Dr. Kirstin Boddy, cardiologist and Heart to Heart founder. “Becoming an official part of the MedVet family best positions us to continue to provide essential cardiology services to small, large, and exotic animals in northeastern Ohio, northwestern Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities.”

MedVet currently operates a network of emergency and specialty medical centers in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Alabama, Michigan, and Texas. This partnership augments the suite of available emergency and specialty services at MedVet Akron and MedVet Cleveland West. Heart to Heart will adopt the MedVet brand name and market identity while continuing to deliver consistent quality care with compassion and excellence as part of the MedVet Cardiology Services team.
