Qualifications: MedVet residencies are designed for the veterinarian who has completed a rotating and/or specialty internship and seeks additional training in a single specialty in preparation for board certification.
As a MedVet resident, you are part of a well-designed training program that provides you with the experience to become an exceptional clinician in your specialty and acquire specialty board certification. MedVet Veterinary Residency programs are in full compliance with the guidelines of their specialty colleges. Residents will participate in journal clubs, daily clinical around, formal rounds, manage emergency, medical and surgical cases, and interact and consult with many MedVet specialists within and outside of your specialty.
In addition to the experience at your location, you have the opportunity to access the benefits and expertise of the specialists at other MedVet hospitals. You not only become a resident of your specialty but one of an elite team of residents across the MedVet network of medical centers.
