Vice President of Marketing
Sarah Berger serves as Vice President of Marketing for MedVet. She is responsible for the company’s strategic brand and marketing initiatives, leading a team of marketers supporting growth and outreach activities, continuing education initiatives, and delivery of the MedVet Experience.
Prior to joining MedVet in September 2017, Sarah spent five years with Optum Workers’ Comp and Auto No-fault Solutions (formerly Helios) where she held leadership responsibility for all aspects of the Division’s branding, marketing, and communications strategy and tactical plan execution. Her earlier experience includes leadership roles at Great American Insurance, where she spent 14 years helping grow the Alternative Markets Division.
Sarah graduated from Mount Union College, Alliance, Ohio with a B.A in Business Administration and Spanish and earned an Executive MBA from Xavier University, Williams College of Business in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a 2006 YWCA Rising Star, Cincinnati Chapter and a member of the inaugural 2007 YWCA Board Leadership Program. Work created under her leadership has received numerous awards, including RIMS Best in Show, Silver Addy Awards, multiple Silver and Gold Aster Awards, and numerous PRism Awards.
When not at work, Sarah is an active member of Immaculate Conception Home and School Association (HASA), serving as Vice President. She is Room Mom for her son’s second grade class, an avid dog-lover, and enjoys spending time with her family.
