Shawn attended the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College in Blue Ash, OH, where she earned an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She is also certified in Osteoarthritis Case Management, Kinesio taping, and Low Stress Handling®.
Shawn works closely with MedVet doctors across all specialties to create and integrate the best rehabilitation services for each patient, including patient assessment, treatment plans, client education, and more. She also works closely with referral veterinarians in the Cincinnati community to consult on their in-house rehabilitation treatment plans. While Shawn enjoys all aspects of her role, she has a special interest in pain management, water therapy, and manual therapies.
When not caring for patients, Shawn enjoys knitting, listening to and playing music, and snuggling with her fur babies.
